Student Life & Residential Community
Saturday night at AYANOT is filled with excitement: The buses arrive, bringing back 260 AYANOT students returning to the village after spending Shabbat with their families. Our residential counselors welcome the students warmly, sharing stories and experiences. The evening continues with some guitar playing and friendly chatter... Come on everyone, time for bed! School tomorrow!
The AYANOT Residential Program
AYANOT's residential program is the closest thing to home: Students are divided into groups, each accompanied by a professional team consisting of two adult counselors (male and female) and two National Service volunteers (male and female), modeling a family structure (mother, father, brother, and sister).
During the teenage years, we believe it's crucial to provide each student with supportive and nurturing emotional care. Our residential team closely accompanies the students, developing an educational and personal process tailored to each individual's needs and abilities, and serves as a listening ear for all aspects of life.
Our Staff Lives With Our Students
Our staff is with the students around the clock, from the moment they wake up until they go to bed. During the night, a certified night counselor patrols the residential grounds and buildings. The entire residential staff lives on campus, just a phone call or knock on the door away.
Group members live together in a well-maintained house. Students take great pride in being part of AYANOT, which is evident in their joint efforts to improve the building's appearance and tend to the garden - creating a warm and homelike atmosphere.
AYANOT graduates throughout the generations testify that AYANOT shaped their personalities and transformed their lives. They say that friendships made at AYANOT are friendships for life.
