Diplomacy and International Communication

Our innovative, interdisciplinary Diplomacy and International Communication track is taught entirely in English. Students develop advanced English language skills that exceed the standard 5-unit matriculation level, enhancing their speaking, writing, and reading abilities. They also cultivate essential skills such as interpersonal communication, critical and creative thinking, leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, and translation. These valuable assets benefit students both in their personal lives today and their future careers.

Learning takes place through an engaging, hands-on approach featuring workshops, role-playing exercises, simulations, discussions, and group projects that foster teamwork. The program is enriched by guest speakers and collaborations with other schools in Israel and worldwide. At Ayanot-Na'amat Youth Village, our unique program brings together Na'ale and Israeli students, creating a multicultural learning environment that facilitates English dialogue with students from around the globe.

What does the program include?

• Communication Skills (Core Studies) - The core curriculum focuses on diplomacy, multiculturalism, the power of narrative, media, and international relations. Students develop and perfect their discussion and public speaking abilities, leadership skills, and team collaboration capabilities.
• Conflict Management and Resolution - Students explore the various factors underlying conflicts and learn effective resolution strategies. The learning process combines theoretical components with scenario analysis and creation. In the practical component, students learn mediation, management, and conflict resolution techniques. Additionally, they participate in various community service activities outside school, where they apply their acquired knowledge.
